Universal Teller - MobileAs a Universal Teller - Mobile, you will deliver an outstanding customer experience by assisting customers with all consumer banking needs to include transactions, account opening/maintenance, consumer loans, online banking and mobile banking assistance, onboarding, cross-selling of Bank products and services, and resolution of customer service issues. In this role, you will travel to Mountain Community Bank branch locations (Boone & Banner Elk, NC), to provide coverage. Occasional travel to branches in Northeast Tennessee may be required. As a representative of the Bank, you are required to present a positive and professional image at all times. This role is highly visible in the Bank and requires a high level of professionalism and self-awareness.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredSix months of previous customer service, cash handling or retail experience preferredCompetenciesAbility to listen and identify the needs and wants of a customer as well as making quick decisions independentlyPossess knowledge of various functions of the bank and where to find answers or informationAbility to multi-task and change focus quickly without being stressed or overwhelmedAbility to be self-motivated, self-driven and self-sufficientPossess proficient computer skillsDuties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully complete all training programs required for the Universal Teller to include teller transactions, account opening, consumer lending, customer service standards, procedures and systems trainingPossess superior knowledge of Bank products and services, delivering professional presentation, explanation and selling of products/services matched to customer needsEffectively and efficiently assist all customers with any consumer banking need, including transactions, account opening, and consumer loansIdentify opportunities to refer customers to other areas of the Bank, including Commercial, Mortgage, and Investment divisions as appropriateMaintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirementsContinuously identify/execute any cross-selling opportunities for the customerConduct customer and bank transactions with accuracy, efficiency and professionalism, meeting the high-quality service delivery standards of the BankAdhere to all branch operations policies and procedures and follow the assigned process. These tasks include but are not limited to opening/closing procedures, cash items, night/day drop and CTRManage and achieve service standard goals, cross-selling goals, transactional goals, and other key performance indicators as requiredCreate ownership of customer relationships by maintaining contact with customers to offer appropriate products and services, advice and assistance with financial needsProtect all customer and bank information at all times, adhering to customer privacy and information security policies, and maintain branch security standardsTravel and provide coverage for Bank of Tennessee branchesPhysical RequirementsThis position largely operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively with management, and employees, both individually and in front of a group. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time is common as is traveling to branches and other business locations. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and properly prepare or inspect documents. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common, and mobile office equipment, such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers and telephones.
