Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.Schedule: Full Time: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday -Friday and some overtime may be requiredPosition Summary: The Universal Utility Operator will float between departments as needed per the production schedule. They will assist with fiber mixing and forming, machining and inspection. This position will be fast paced and requires attention to detail with minimal supervision and ability to switch from job to job effortlessly.Position Responsibilities:Follow production scheduleWeigh and mix material as neededPerform mold set ups for productionOperate a machine and inspect parts to verify qualityAdjust current machine cycles when requiredAssist operators when neededSet up and Operate drill press and band sawsLoad and unload CNC machine.Ability to operate a lift truckMust maintain minimum daily production countsMust be versatilePosition Requirements:Excellent AttendanceAbility to read BlueprintsAbility to use Hand toolsAbility to use power toolsGood math skillsLift up to 50 lbs. occasionallyOperate programmable controlsBe mechanically inclinedAttention to detailAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust follow all safety requirementsBasic computer skillsAble to wear a respiratorEducation/Certifications:NoneEOE M/F/VET/Disability
