UP Milk Cooler OperatorDarigold is seeking to fill a UP Milk Cooler Operator position at our Boise facility. UP Milk Cooler Production workers must be motivated and desire to be members of a self-activating team that works safely and drives quality on the production line. The ideal candidates for this role excel in a fast paced, rigorous environment and thrive in a team-based work setting.What You Will DoOperates Two Lane Modern Filler and jobs associated with production.Ensure the machine runs at posted speeds for size and efficiency at all timesAbility to hit targets, delivering increased output figuresCheck product to insure correct code date and label identificationDocuments all production data clearly and accuratelyKeep supervision and maintenance informed of any mechanical issues.Monitor and ensure product quality, and maintain the product in specificationsResponsible for maintaining and assisting in minimizing losses of packaging materials and other materials used in this job function.Inspect the equipment prior to setting up for production, during production, during CIP and report possible mechanical deficiencies.Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Ability to work with required sanitation chemicalsAbility to utilize professional methods of communication within the Culture department to create a positive environmentCompletes PMs and other environmental tasks as assignedFollows all procedures in the cleanup process including GMP'sFollow and comply with Safety and quality assurance practicesSupports coworkers running other culture machines as needed.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads/supervisors/managersWhat You Will BringAbility to frequently lift 55 lbs.Ability to stand of extended periods of timeAbility to follow all clean up proceduresA self-motivator with the ability to multitaskAbility to communicate and work well with others and managementProven ability to maintain professionalism, while managing multiple competing tasks in a high volume, fast paced, time sensitive environmentHigh level of organizational skillsExcellent attendance and work performanceUnderstanding and adherence to all GMP'sAbility to work days off/overtime when necessaryExcellent mechanical aptitudeAbility to conduct business in a manner consistent with Darigold mission, values, policies and Code of Conduct.Education, Experience, and CertificationsFood background preferred, specifically dairyExperience in a variety of manufacturing areas, within consumer products preferredBenefits of Working at DarigoldWe understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
