Job description
Upholsterer For Furniture ManufacturingAn upholsterer will construct or repair upholstered furniture by covering the furniture frame with materials such as leather, cotton or suede.Responsibilities:· Attaches fabric/leather to the arms, backs, seats and outside backs to wooden frames using a compressed air staple gun.· This job requires continuous stapling with one hand while pulling the material with the other hand to complete the sofa, loveseat, chair or ottoman according to specifications.· Physical requirements are standing all day, bending, occasionally may have to lift 80 to 100 pounds.· Follow all safety procedures while performing the positionQualifications/Skills:· 6 months or more of experience working as an upholsterer in a production setting· Ability to work well in a team oriented environment· Must be 18 years of age or olderBenefits Include:· Medical insurance available the first month following 30 days of employment· FSA and HSA available· Dental and Vision· 401(k) Plan· Stock Purchase Plan· Paid vacation upon hire· Holidays· AFLAC· Critical Care Insurance· Hospital Insurance· On-site clinic· Free mental health counseling
