nUNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have Full-time openings for Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) OR Nurse Practitioners (NP) at multiple locations. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams. These are employed positions with UNCHMG Urgent Care and a shift-based model. Our provider team staffs multiple UNCHMG Urgent Care sites. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based with a reservation and wait time system. n nIdeal Candidate:
nnnCompletion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

nnWork experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settingpreferred

nnMust provide care to patients 4 months of age and older

nnNC Licensure or ability to obtain
n
nnExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
n
nnThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment

nnRequired procedures: Suturing, splinting
n
nnDOT Certification
n
nnEPIC-EMR
n
nnKnowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required
