Job description
Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established Immediate Care team at our Ridge Road location in Channahon. You'll care for patients of all ages, treat a broad range of illnesses and injuries, and help ensure families throughout our growing communities have access to high-quality care close to home.

Your Impact Provide timely, patient-centered care for patients of all ages
Evaluate and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform common urgent care procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
Help patients receive the right level of care close to home while reducing unnecessary Emergency Department visits
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and hospital-based specialists to provide coordinated care
Schedule & Scope Full-time Immediate Care position at our Ridge Road location in Channahon
Every-other-weekend rotation required
No call responsibilities
Care for patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented setting
On-site laboratory and X-ray services
Access to advanced imaging, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, and specialty services throughout the Morris Hospital system
Occupational Medicine services are part of the practice

Qualifications Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Eligible for Illinois APRN licensure
DEA certification or eligibility
BLS, ACLS, and PALS
DOT certification required prior to start
Comfortable with suturing and common urgent care procedures
Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or similar acute care experience preferred
