Locum Tenens Urgent Care NP/PA Waycross, GA
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens urgent care opportunity in Waycross, Georgia . This is a great opportunity for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking for consistent, ongoing work.
Position Highlights Locum tenens assignment
Minimum of 3 shifts per week required

Requirements Active Georgia NP or PA license
Current GA DEA (required)
Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of acute cases
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
