Job description
seeking an experienced Family Medicine NP or PA to provide outpatient coverage following a provider departure. The facility is open to splitting the assignment between multiple providers to accommodate scheduling needs.
Schedule Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM
Outpatient clinic setting
Day shifts only
No call
No telemedicine
No home care
Patient Volume Approximately 30-55 patients per day
Volume shared between 2-3 providers
Required Procedures Providers should be comfortable performing:
Laceration repairs
Incision & drainage
Splinting, casting, slings, and wraps
IV placement
Reduction of minor dislocated joints
Foreign body removal
Epistaxis (nosebleed) management
Tick removal
Wound care
X-ray interpretation
EKG interpretation
Laboratory interpretation
Immunizations
Requirements Board Certified NP or PA
New York license required at presentation
BLS
ACLS
NRP
1-5+ years of Family Medicine experience preferred
