Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time Urgent Care Varied Hours No CallAn urgent care clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient urgent care services in a collaborative, physician-supervised setting.Opportunity Highlights:Full-time Urgent Care APP role
Predominantly outpatient urgent care setting
Clinic provides patient access 364 days per year
Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage urgent care patients
Manage selected at-risk or complex patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
May perform procedures within scope of practice
No operating room requirement
No practice call or ED/unassigned call requirement
Responsibilities include ordering appropriate tests, procedures, and therapies
Provide referrals or transfer patients when appropriate
Respond to emergency situations based on individual patient needs
Complete thorough and timely documentation
Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
Varied hours based on department needs

Candidate Requirements:Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
South Dakota Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
1+ year of clinical experience preferred
1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Comfortable managing acute illness, minor injuries, procedures, and patient referrals/transfers as needed
