Urgent Care APP Opportunity in Sumter & Manning, SCPosition DetailsFull-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Urgent CareRotating coverage between two urgent care locationsOpen 7 days per weekProviders work 13 shifts per monthClinic hours: - Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 6:00pm - Saturday-Sunday: 7:30am - 5:00pmOpportunity to pick up additional shifts for stipend compensationOption to provide additional coverage in a primary care settingClinical ResponsibilitiesProvide urgent care services for a wide range of acute conditions including respiratory illnesses, skin infections, sprains, fractures, burns, and lacerationsPerform minor procedures and urgent care interventionsInterpret diagnostic studies including X-rays, EKGs, labs, and other imagingDevelop and implement patient treatment plansPrescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as appropriateCoordinate referrals to specialists when necessaryCommunicate diagnostic results and follow-up instructions to patientsMaintain accurate documentation within the EMR systemCollaborate with clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient careParticipate in clinic operations, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiativesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation with income guarantee and bonus incentivesCompensation model focused on quality metricsDedicated CME time and annual CME allowanceGenerous paid time off packageRetirement plan with employer-funded contributionsEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Malpractice insurance with tail coverageOpportunity for provider partnership trackRequirementsMaster's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programActive South Carolina license or ability to obtain prior to startDEA registration requiredBLS and ACLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Strong clinical knowledge of urgent care protocols and procedures preferredFamiliarity with EMR systems, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines preferredPosition SummarySpecialty: Urgent CareSetting: Urgent Care ClinicLocation: Sumter & Manning, South CarolinaEmployment Type: Full-Time PermanentSchedule: 13 shifts per month, rotating schedule
