Job description
A well-established healthcare system in western Georgia is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its Urgent Care team providing high-quality, fast-paced outpatient care across multiple community locations.
Position Highlights:
Full-time urgent care role averaging 40 hours/week
Rotating schedule: 3 weekdays one week, 2 weekdays + 2 weekend days the next
Weekend coverage every other weekend
Clinic hours: Weekdays: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM (or until last patient is seen)
Weekends: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (or until last patient is seen)
Multiple urgent care locations across the regional network
Supportive clinical staff with strong administrative and management support
Fast-paced outpatient setting with broad patient mix and acuity
Epic EMR systemwide for integrated documentation and care coordination
Opportunity to grow into a Medical Director role
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Requires 3 5 years' experience
Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
DOT certification preferred
Comfortable managing a wide range of urgent care presentations
Strong team-based, patient-focused approach
