Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) - Auburn, AL | Up to $10K Sign-On Bonus
Pay or shift range: $115 USD to $140 USD
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

About the Role
Stopwatch Urgent Care is hiring a full-time Urgent Care Physician for our Auburn clinic. Auburn is a vibrant college city in east-central Alabama, home to Auburn University, with a strong local economy and a growing population. This role also covers our nearby Opelika clinic.
At a Glance
Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, based on experience and start date, with a 12-month commitment
Competitive hourly pay based on experience and credentials, time-and-a-half after 40 hours
Rotating 3-4 schedule: three 12-hour shifts one week, four the next
Average of 3-4 patients per hour

What You'll Do
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and complete same-day charting in Experity EMR.
How You'll Practice
You are the physician on shift and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and credentials. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications
MD or DO licensed in Alabama, or eligible for licensure
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Current BLS and ACLS
DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start (training provided)
Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
