Urgent Care- Family Medicine Physician Opportunity
Urgent Care of Piedmont - York York, South Carolina

Position Highlights
Employed position with Piedmont Physician Network
Outpatient-only urgent care practice
14-15 twelve-hour shifts per month
No call responsibilities
Competitive compensation package
Established practice with a strong community reputation
Physician and Nurse Practitioner staffing model on each shift
Average patient volume of 25-50 patients per day
Opportunity to perform minor office-based procedures
Occupational medicine services included within the practice
Ability to interpret X-rays and manage a broad range of urgent care conditions
Collaborative team consisting of:
1 Full-Time Physician
1 PRN Physician
2 Full-Time Nurse Practitioners
1 PRN Nurse Practitioner
Comprehensive support staff including:
Registered Nurses (RNs)
Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs)
Radiology Technologists
Patient Service Representatives
Practice Supervisor
Practice Manager
Clinic hours:
Monday-Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Weekend and holiday coverage required
Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Candidate Requirements
MD or DO degree required
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care preferred
Comfortable managing a wide variety of acute care conditions
Ability to perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging
DOT and MRO certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
