Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 60 miles from the facility.
Description / Comment
NY LICENSE IS REQUIRED
One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as Radiation Therapy (T)
Current BCLS certification.
Key Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the treatment plan developed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Operate radiation equipment such as linear accelerators, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to deliver precise doses of radiation.
Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.
