Salary range: Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Urology, ranging from $400,986 to $438,352. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description
The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Urology, is seeking an outstanding Urologist in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series or the Clinical "X" Professor series, either at the Assistant or Associate level.
We are looking for applicants with clinical expertise in pelvic floor disorders, neurogenic bladder, and lower urinary tract symptoms in both males and females. As the only academic center in Orange County, there is a robust referral pattern and high surgical volume. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in educating and teaching students, residents, and fellows in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology through our ACGME-accredited Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship.
Additional qualifications (required at time of start):
Candidates must have a valid California medical license, fluoroscopy certificate, and a DEA license.
Candidates must be fellowship-trained in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and either board-certified or board-eligible in Urology at the time of application.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical care of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery patients and support our mission of discover, teach, and heal at our main campus and community-based or affiliate clinical sites.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent in health-related fields.
Candidates must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit, as determined by the California Medical Board.
Candidates must have completed a Urology residency program.
