About the Facility This comprehensive academic medical center provides a broad range of inpatient, emergency, surgical, and specialty services while supporting medical education and advanced patient care. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and administrative support systems to facilitate effective urological care coordination across clinic and OR settings. Appropriate resources are in place to support clinicians managing urological cases on-site throughout the assignment period.
About the Facility Location Tucson offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and historical attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, and Mount Lemmon, complemented by cultural venues such as the Pima Air and Space Museum, Reid Park Zoo, and Tucson Botanical Gardens. Clinicians may also visit Old Tucson, a film set constructed in 1939 that has hosted over 400 productions, as well as the Titan Missile Museum, located approximately 25 miles south of the city, which remains the only publicly accessible Titan II ICBM missile site in the world. The area's dining, shopping, and museum offerings further expand the range of experiences available during time away from clinical duties.
About the Clinician's Workday This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide coverage across clinic and operating room settings on a day shift schedule, 5 days per week, with 2-3 days dedicated to clinic and 2-3 days dedicated to the OR, at an on-site facility. Weekend call coverage is required as a component of this position. Board certification in Urology and prescriptive authority are required for consideration. Clinicians must maintain availability across both clinic and surgical settings for the duration of the assignment.
