Urology Hospitalist | Novant Health
Winston-Salem, NC
Novant Health Surgical Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible urologist to join their established team providing inpatient care in a Urology Hospitalist role. The position is inpatient only performing consults, procedures, surgeries, and assisting in the management of inpatients from the office-based group. No clinic responsibilities. Alternating 7 on/7off block schedule with an average patient volume of 30 patients between rounding and consults. No overnight call. Practice is supported by system-wide EMR-EPIC and provides easy access to robotics.
Additional Position Highlights
Inpatient Urology service is a consultation only service and the inpatients are admitted by the medical hospitalist service
FMC is a 900-bed hospital with ~100 ED beds, > 120,000 ED visits annually
Position is currently supported by APPs
Position is supported by dedicated OR block time

Education
What We're Looking For
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
Completion of an accredited residency program required
For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Current MD license in appropriate state
Board certification or eligibility
Current DEA license required
