Urology Manchester - Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant
We're searching for a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our vibrant urology team. As a key member, you'll perform patient assessments, round at Manchester Hospital, oversee consults, and contribute to procedures. By working closely with urologists and healthcare teams, you'll deliver exceptional care while unlocking avenues for personal development and positively influencing patient outcomes. Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only! Call schedule: No call

Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners Role Scope: Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists. Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physicians.

Qualifications
Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
Training: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified) Preferred
Requirements: Experience: 2+ years in a urology setting is preferred. This should not dissuade new graduates to apply as we understand work ethic supersedes experience in certain situations and we are willing to provide comprehensive training!
