Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
Coverage November 11, 2026-February 1, 2027Additional dates expected beginning February 2027 as schedules are releasedOngoing coverage anticipated through August 2027Adult and geriatric patient populationConcurrent Urology call coverage for 2 facilitiesNo backup Urology call coveragePatients may be transferred between facilities as needed Schedule & Call
24-hour call coverageCoverage needed approximately 30-31 days per month7:00 am shift end time30-minute response time requiredRespond to Urology needs by phone or in person as clinically appropriatePhysician-to-physician consultations, regional transfer calls, and clinical/nursing guidanceOn-site evaluation, rounding, and surgical intervention as required Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
Level I Trauma settingProvide Urology coverage across both facilitiesPerform surgery when requiredRound on patients following on-site evaluation or treatmentMust disclose ability to perform robotic procedures Support & Systems
Epic EMRNo designated support staffRequired Epic modules and virtual training must be completed prior to startingVirtual EMR training must be completed at least 1 week before the first day Requirements & Credentialing
Board Certified in Urology requiredActive Colorado license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission requiredActive DEA required for credentialingTransferred DEA may be considered but must remain in place for the duration of the assignmentClean malpractice and background highly preferredCandidates with a self-query NPDB report may receive priority for emergency temporary privileges What's great about Colorado Springs, Colorado?
