Hospital-Based Behavioral/Cognitive Neurologist Job in Detroit, MI

Shift: Monday Friday, with night call (1-2 calls/month, weekend call 1 2 times/year)

License/Certifications: Board Certified in neurology (required)

Experience: Recognized excellence in behavioral and cognitive neurology preferred

What You ll Do

Lead clinical care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting

Provide expertise in behavioral and cognitive neurology, including dementia and neurodegenerative conditions

Support and advance the Center for Cognitive Health with innovative initiatives

Mentor neurology residents, fellows, and medical students

Contribute to clinical research, including translational studies for neurodegenerative diseases

Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and research efforts

Support administrative and leadership roles within the department

What You Need

Board Certified in Neurology (must be actively certified)

Valid medical license in Michigan or ability to obtain one

Prior experience or expertise in behavioral and cognitive neurology strongly preferred

Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities

Strong communication and organizational skills
