This facility is a well-established healthcare organization serving the Upper Peninsula community with comprehensive urological services. The facility features a 25-bed department, a dedicated clinic space for the Urologist, and a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite, providing cutting-edge surgical capabilities and strong provider support.

Opportunity:

Physician - Urology

Job Details:

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment preferred

2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible scheduling; August 2026 start preferred

Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am - 5pm

No call coverage required

Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift

Da Vinci Xi Robot available onsite for robotic surgical procedures

General Urology (Adult required, Pediatric preferred) skills required

Laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy required

Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required

TRUS biopsies and fertility work-up required

Nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and incontinence procedures preferred

Robotic surgery preferred

Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required

Must be licensed in MI or hold an IMLC license

ACLS certification required

Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology required

At least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months required, reflective of the scope of privileges requested

Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days

Facility lodging available with many amenities, if available during scheduled shifts

Nearest airport is CMX - Hancock, MI

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
