This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility serving the western Pennsylvania region, providing comprehensive urological services to the surrounding community. The facility arranges lodging for locum providers and offers strong departmental support to ensure a smooth and productive assignment.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Holiday coverage needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas, with additional dates spanning October through December
Coverage is a mix of call and clinic, typically 3-4 days of call per week
Round on approximately 2-4 inpatients per shift
Respond to consults in a timely manner, averaging 5-7 consults per shift
15-20 patient encounters per shift
Must hold an active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery)
Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
Required skills include: Adult Urology, Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and Incontinence procedures
Nearest airports include Pittsburgh, Latrobe, or Johnstown

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
