Job description
Coverage: Scheduled + Optional On-Call
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
Privileges: Hospital + Clinic
Schedule:
8-hour clinic shifts, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Typical schedule: 3 clinic days + 1 OR day during the call week
When not on call: approximately 4 clinic days + 1 OR day
7 days of unrestricted call per month
Call is restricted/beeper with a 10-minute return-call response
30-minute radius requirement (may be 45 minutes)
Patient Volume:
Approx. 18 patients/day
Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
Procedures:
Catheter placement
Stent placement
Cystoscopy
TURP
Ureteroscopy
Prostate biopsy
Circumcision
Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
Orchiopexy
TURBT
Hydrocelectomy
Spermatocelectomy
PVP
Litholapaxy
Clinical Scope:
Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
Kidney stones
Male incontinence
Cystoscopies
Surgical assistance
Standard urology procedures in clinic and OR
Requirements:
Board Certified in Urology
Minimum 2 years of experience
100 surgical procedures documented within the previous 24 months
Epic experience
Da Vinci experience is a plus, not required
Licenses Required:
Washington medical license
IMLC accepted with LOQ in hand
BLS
ACLS
Additional Call Details:
Approximately 0 4 after-hours texts/calls
