Clinical Role
Join an established hospital in Shelby, North Carolina, providing inpatient Urology coverage during scheduled weekday call assignments. This locums opportunity offers in-house call responsibilities, manageable patient volumes, and the potential for ongoing coverage with a collaborative hospital team.

October 5 (7:00 AM) - October 9 (7:00 AM), 2026November 2 (7:00 AM) - November 6 (7:00 AM), 2026November 23 (7:00 AM) - November 27 (7:00 AM), 2026December 21 (7:00 AM) - December 25 (7:00 AM), 2026December 28 (7:00 AM), 2026 - January 1 (7:00 AM), 2027 Schedule:

Approximately 130 inpatient census36-bed Emergency DepartmentHospital Stroke Certified Patient Volume:
Approximately 7 patients per day Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient Urology consultationsEvaluate assigned and unassigned patientsManage urologic emergencies and inpatient careRespond to hospital consultsCollaborate with hospitalists and specialty teamsDocument patient care using Epic Support & Technology
EMR System:
Epic Requirements
Board Certified in Urology requiredFellowship training requiredActive North Carolina Medical License requiredCandidates within driving distance preferred Credentialing
