Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide urology coverage in both clinic and on-call settings
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) with a 1-hour lunch break
24-hour call coverage also required
Support staff includes 4 Medical Assistants, 1 Customer Service Associate, and 1 RN
Full weeks of coverage needed on an ongoing basis
Patient population primarily adults 18 and older, with exception for emergency torsion cases presenting during call
Typical patient volume ranges from 24 to 28 patients per day, including cystoscopy and stent procedures mixed with office visits
EMR system is EPIC
Practice settings include both clinic and hospital environments
Robotic surgery experience utilized
16 operating rooms available across two surgical locations
Supervision of new Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) required
Office equipment includes cystoscope, towers, and injections
Core procedures include vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology required
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
DEA registration required
Minimum of 1 year of experience required
