Security OfficerLocation: Kaunakakai, HI Duration: 6 monthsJob Description: Periodically patrols buildings and grounds of industrial plants, commercial establishments, docks, logging camp areas, or work sites. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 4-6 Years of Experience All Candidates MUST have an Active Hawaii Guard Card. The candidate must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Officers will not carry any type of weapons. There is a combination of guardhouse (gate safeguarding) posting, foot patrols, mobile patrols and emergency response (CPR). Worker Shift Start Time: There are 3 different shifts, and scheduling is based on business needs. 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 11:30pm-8am. No guarantees on start time. Hours per Day: 8-12 hours Hours per Week: 40 with possibility of OT
