This position requires a strong aptitude for learning and a positive attitude!The Utility Assembler position promotes cross training opportunities to help you advance your career at Oakworks. The more areas employees train in, their pay rate increases!Train in 3 areas- receive $1.00/ hour increaseTrain in 5 areas- receive an additional $.50/hourTrain in 8 areas- receive an additional $.50/hourQualificationsEducation: Must have high school diploma or equivalent.Experience: 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred. Medical product development or other regulated assembly industry experience is preferred.Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (Read Drawings, Assemble Electrical & Mechanical Components, and Validate Quality)Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred.Ability to communicate and work with multiple departments.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit/walk/stand for extended periods of time on a daily basisAbility to lift/reach/bend/stretch in manufacturing environmentAbility to use a computer for extended periods of time on a daily basisAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisEqual Opportunity Employer and M/F/Vets/Disability
