G & G Utility Construction is expanding and seeking motivated, safety‐focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the infrastructure that keeps communities powered. This is a hands‐on, full‐time position with opportunities for overtime and skill development.
Pay & Schedule
Competitive hourly pay based on experience + overtime
Weekly direct deposit
Full-time, permanent position
Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Optional overtime available
Occasional overnight travel required
Minimum : 18
Must pass a pre-employment drug test (federal guidelines – no marijuana)
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare construction sites
Load and unload materials and equipment
Follow supervisor instructions and execute construction plans
Assist skilled tradespeople
Operate and tend machinery and heavy equipment
Build, erect, and align forms for concrete structures and foundations
Install, maintain, and repair equipment essential to the electrical grid
Install/remove electrical and telecommunications equipment, conduit, wire/cable (including fiber optic), concrete foundations, and steel structures
Identify utility lines
Secure tools and equipment and clean the job site daily
Work safely and follow all safety protocols
Work in all weather conditions
Demonstrate basic construction knowledge and willingness to learn
Construction experience is but not required.

Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Ability to commute or relocate to Lexington, KY 40509 before starting work
