Job description
Heavy Equipment OperatorKey Responsibilities:Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, excavators, skid loaders, forklifts, bull dozers, and backhoes to support the installation and maintenance of utility infrastructure.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe work environment.Work closely with other crew members, engineers, and safety personnel, to complete projects on time and within budget.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment usage, maintenance logs, and job progress reports.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.Certifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and relevant heavy equipment operator certifications.
