Job description
Operator - UtilityThis position could be in either the Foundry, Finishing, or Assembly Department.Performs work associated with the operation of all mechanical equipment in an assigned department in a manufacturing environment.Job DutiesOperate assigned mechanical equipmentEnsure that items produced pass quality control requirementsComplete all necessary documents fully and accuratelyAdhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedExperience and EducationPerform work under direct supervisionHandle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staffPossess working knowledge of subject matter2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or foundryCompetencies/ SkillsAbility to interpret work instructionsAbility to follow written and verbal directionsBasic verbal and written communication skillsManual dexterity
