Utility Operator - Middlefield - Level 1OH Middlefield - Middlefield, OH 44062DescriptionUtility Operator/PackerThe purpose of an Entry Level Production Operator is to own the responsibility of reading packing sheets, quality inspecting product coming out of a production machine, and loading product into boxes and onto pallets. This position requires you to work in a warm temperature environment throughout your shift. You would be required to obtain a full range of motion from standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting 40lbs as necessary. Although there is no quota to obtain, you would be required to work at a steady speed to keep up with production.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect finished product from Injection Molding, Thermoforming, Co-Ex, Vacuum, or Printing/BrandingSeparate defected product and set in designated area for recyclingPackage good quality product according to company standardsRead packing sheets that guide you on how many pieces of product go into a box or onto a palletUtilize a step ladder throughout your shiftShrink wrap boxes and palletsLabel boxes and pallets in preparation for shippingOperator a manual pallet jackMove finished pallets with pallet jack to designated area for Material HandlersPerform other tasks as directed by supervisors or managersQualificationsQualifications and ExperienceMust adhere to all safety guidelines and fosters a safe work cultureMust have ability to work in a team-oriented environmentMust be able to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skillsBasic math skillsMust demonstrate time management skillsOrganizational skillsMust have ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift 40lbsMust be able to climb up and down a ladder
