You will receive training to perform the daily activities associated with the specialty film production process. The starting pay for this role is $23.93 + shift differential.This is a full time role that includes competitive pay, shift differential, annual bonus potential, generous paid time off, 401K with company match, retirement contribution, tuition reimbursement, parental leave and medical, dental and vision coverage (no waiting period).You must follow standard operating procedures and ensure that health, safety and compliance is your highest priority. This role allows you to learn more about our plant operations and can open the door to career opportunities with increased responsibilities.Major Responsibilities:Assist Operators with running the production linesAssist Operators with starting up, operating, cleaning and shutting down processing equipmentDrive a fork truck in a safe manner and change batteriesSupplying / cutting packaging suppliesCutting scrap and process rework materialsRecord process and product information, testing samples, completing order paperwork and packaging materialsYou are part of the Strategic business entity Specialty Films – We are a global team developing specialty films solutions for a broad customer base with focus on the segments Automotive, Medical and Security. Our films do a lot more than you might think, given the properties of the plastics on which they are based and as one of the global leaders in the field of plastic films, our material development activities are geared to technologies of the future.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDMust be willing to work shifts; Positions available on day shift (7am-7pm) and night shift (7pm – 7am)Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs of weight, climb stairs, lift and pull 10 lbs of weight in the overhead position, work in ambient room temperature of 100 degrees, and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.Preferred Qualifications:Previous knowledge of the film/sheet extrusion process is a plus1-2 years in an industrial or manufacturing environmentEqual Employment Opportunity: Hiring and advancement are based on job-related requirements and on an individual's qualifications to perform a job.
