Join our team as a WWTP Operator and help operate and maintain systems that safely treat wastewater for the communities we serve.Primary Accountability - Responsible for the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant ("WWTP") equipment and devices.What You'll DoOperate and monitor wastewater treatment plant systems and equipmentRead and record plant data from meters, gauges, and control systemsRegulate the flow of wastewater, sludge, and air through treatment processesConduct process sampling and basic lab testingInspect equipment and perform routine maintenance and minor repairsMaintain plant facilities and groundsTroubleshoot operational issues and respond to alarms or emergenciesMaintain operational logs and reportsWhy Join UsHelp protect public health and the environmentStable career in an essential industryWork with a team that values safety, professionalism, and teamworkOpportunities for training and advancementRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForExperience in wastewater treatment, utilities, or plant operations preferredSafety-focused and comfortable working in an industrial plant environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer and recordkeeping skillsStrong attention to detail and process monitoringBasic RequirementsValid Hawaii Driver's LicenseHigh School Diploma or GEDState of Hawaii Grade II WWTP Operator License preferredKnowledge of wastewater treatment plant operations, collection systems, sampling, lab testing, equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices.Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work shift schedules, weekends, or holidays if neededPay & Incentives$29.10 - $34.87 per hourAnnual incentive bonus with an earning potential of up to 10% of base pay.
