Job PostingResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Perform daily equipment inspections as neededOperate all heavy equipment as neededEnsure trenching equipment is set correctly and safely climb in and out of trench boxCorrectly install sanitary sewer, water and stormwater pipe at proper specification and assist in manual operations of crewCommunicate and work with others in a high stress environmentJob requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and rakingPerform other duties as directed by supervisorMinimum Qualifications:Must be willing to work flexible shiftsMust be willing to work in all weather conditionsValid driver's license but a CDL is a preferredMust pass a pre employment drug screening and backgroundBenefitsCompany paid medical, dental and vision401KPaid Time OffHoliday PayLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityKnife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
