nNightwing is seeking an experienced UX Expert. In this role, responsibilities would include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and advocating for user-centered design principles. It would also include an understanding of the user's needs, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate requirements into intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly designs.
nResponsibilities:
nnnConduct user research: Perform interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
n
nnCreate design deliverables: Develop user stories and personas, journey maps, wireframes, site maps, and high-fidelity, clickable prototypes.
n
nnDesign and iterate: Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for digital products and iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.

nnCollaborate with teams: Partner with product managers, UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centered solutions.
n
nnAdvocate for UX: Champion user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.
n
nnEnsure accessibility: Integrate accessibility standards into the design process and conduct accessibility compliance assessments.
n
nnPresent findings: Communicate research findings and design concepts clearly to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
n
nnHand off to development: Prepare and hand off design assets and specifications to the development team for implementation.

n nRequired Skills and Qualifications:
nnnMust have 14 years of related experience
n
nnMust have 5 years' experience supporting the mission
n
nnAn additional 6 years' experience can be substituted with a Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience can substituted with an Associate's degree.
n
nnA Bachelor's Degree and 5 years additional related work experience maybe substituted for a Master's degree.
n
nnProven experience in UX/UI design, supported by a portfolio of professional work.
n
nnCurrent TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
n
nnProficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Creative Suite.
n
nnFamiliarity with front-end development principles (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js) is a plus.
n
nnFamiliarity with workflow design and development principles (e.g., ReactFlow, JointJS, Apache Airflow, Prefect, Flowable) is a plus.
n
nnDeep understanding of user behavior, human-computer interaction, and user-centered design methodologies.
n
nnExperience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
n
nnStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
n
nnFamiliarity with front-end development principles (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is often a plus.
n
nnA mobile-first and responsive design mindset.
n
nnBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Design)

n nPlease Note: This position is Contingent Upon Contract Award
nThe salary associated with this position $122,000-$253,000 is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
