Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a UX Hardware Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a UX Hardware Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Development Department supporting the Infotainment and Connectivity team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $85-$90/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
Own the development of key human-machine interfaces (HMI) used by riders to interact with autonomous vehicles. Specify electrical component and system requirements, and lead engineering discussions with suppliers. Develop prototypes, test, and iterate on hardware designs to meet project milestones. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and system teams to refine existing solutions and develop new ones. Conduct root cause analysis during development, validation, and deployment phases to resolve issues efficiently. What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in electrical component and system design, troubleshooting, and project management. Experience working with automotive networks such as CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, and A2B. Proficiency with onboard digital serial interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C, and I2S. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. What's in it for me?
