Job description
We are seeking a UX Strategy Lead to drive user-centered design and strategy for data visualization and Power BI dashboard experiences. The ideal candidate will combine Design Thinking, UX strategy, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills to translate business needs and user insights into intuitive, actionable, and technically feasible solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead Design Thinking, discovery, and stakeholder workshops to understand business objectives, user needs, workflows, and decision-making processes.
Translate business and user insights into intuitive Power BI dashboard and reporting experiences using Figma.
Define and document user personas, user journeys, KPIs, reporting requirements, and information architecture.
Create wireframes, prototypes, dashboard concepts, and UX solutions aligned with business requirements.
Ensure designs are feasible within Power BI capabilities, data availability, and technical constraints.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, UX/design teams, and Power BI developers throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.
Conduct usability reviews and testing, gather feedback, and iterate designs to improve user experience and business outcomes.
Balance user needs, business goals, data requirements, and technical constraints when defining solutions.
Manage project planning, timelines, scope, dependencies, and change management to support timely delivery.
Lead benefits management activities to track outcomes and maximize business value from UX initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong experience in UX strategy, UX research, Design Thinking, and user-centered design.
Hands-on experience designing Power BI dashboards and data visualization experiences.
Proficiency with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and UX design.
Experience facilitating discovery sessions, Design Thinking workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
Strong knowledge of personas, user journeys, information architecture, usability testing, and interaction design.
Ability to translate complex business and data requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences.
Experience working with cross-functional business, data, analytics, and development teams.
Strong project planning, stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing business, user, and technical requirements.
Preferred Skills
Experience with enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven applications.
Knowledge of Power BI capabilities, data models, dashboards, and reporting workflows.
Experience with benefits realization, value tracking, and UX transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile or other collaborative product development methodologies.
