Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
\ NThe provider will performGeneral Medicine disability evaluations, review medical records, conduct physical examinations, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). No prescribing, treatment planning, or ongoing patient care is required.
\ N
\ NResponsibilities:
\ N Perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability examinations.
\ N Review Veterans' medical records and relevant documentation before each evaluation.
\ N Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
\ N Accurately complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and required reports.
\ N Document findings clearly, objectively, and within established timelines.
\ N Maintain compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
\ N Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
\ N Qualification:
\ N Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
\ N Active, unrestricted MD, DO license
\ N Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
\ N Experience with disability evaluations, occupational medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred.
