Job description
Value Add Service TechnicianThe 3E Value Add Shop specializes in electrical assembly to support 3E's diverse customer base. Our work ranges from soldering wires and assembling switch components to building complete wire harnesses. Our technicians prioritize quality while efficiently completing various work orders. We are currently seeking Assemblers to join our team in producing high-quality products.Reports to: ForemanMinimum Qualifications:Understanding of continuous improvement principlesAbility to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.Good eyesight with accurate color visionStrong manual dexterityWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsWorking Conditions:Work is performed primarily in a shop. You will work around electricity and other potential hazards requiring appropriate safety equipment and practices at all times.Essential Job Functions:Strip wire jacketsCrimp wire harnessesSolder/tin wiresAssemble and braid cablesBuild components and sub-assemblies for control boxesRead and interpret technical prints, wire diagrams, and weld diagramsAccurately use a tape measure and perform basic math calculationsCED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran
