The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a Student Research worker to work as a part of Dr. Genkinger's research team and research projects. More specifically, to be a research worker on several of her projects related to determinants of cancer and cancer survival. The student research worker will be responsible for developing IRB, questionnaires and databases, implementing studies, conducting statistical analyses, writing and editing of manuscripts. The incumbent will also help with conducting thorough literature review and conducting summaries of the literature reviews.

Responsibilities

Assist management of ongoing studies, 60%

Data analysis, 10%

Literature reviews, 20%

Drafting manuscripts, 5%

Other duties as assigned 5%

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidate must possess a high level of initiative, clear communication skills, and attention to detail in addition to a demonstrated ability to be flexible to the evolving needs of several global mental health studies.

Strong writing skills and familiarity with data management and analysis and statistical programs (SAS) are strongly preferred.
