Division of Vascular Surgery | 80% FTE
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Vascular Access Surgeon to join a high‑volume, multidisciplinary dialysis access program. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient access care, endovascular procedures, and operative interventions, with opportunities for academic involvement and future leadership development.
Role Highlights
80% FTE (~4 days/week) split between the Vascular Access Center (A6) and the OR
High‑volume procedural practice: fistulograms, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, tunneled catheter procedures
Operative work including AV fistula/graft creation, complex revisions, central venous interventions, HeRO grafts, CO₂ angiography, and advanced techniques
Shared OR block time (Wed/Thurs) with variable weekly structure
Collaborative model with Access Director
Clinical Responsibilities
Manage new access patients, postoperative care, and access complications
Perform 6–12 endovascular procedures/day in A6
Provide inpatient consults and urgent access care
Academic & Leadership Opportunities
Participate in clinical research and industry‑sponsored trialsi>
Teach vascular surgery fellows and residents
Support program growth in advanced access services
Potential pathway to Director of Vascular Access
