UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities: Works under minimal supervision with the physicians and peers to perform ultrasound imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.
Qualifications: Job Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology and/or the following licenses or certifications:
(ARDMS) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
(RVT) Registered Vascular Technologist or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
