Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned sports venture investor to partner with our family office, Eberg Capital, and help scale our portfolio and run day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
Act as a partner and operational leader for Eberg Capital.
Represent the company’s brand and reputation internally and externally.
Work closely with my son Ethan and other family team members to mentor and grow the next generation of dealmakers.
Source, evaluate, and manage pre‑seed and seed stage investment opportunities in sports and adjacent sectors.
Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies as they mature.
Qualifications
Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
Proven track record as a sports venture investor with early‑stage network.
Experience generating deal flow for pre‑seed and seed stage funding.
Strong relationships with startups, incumbents, bankers, and other venture capitalists.
Reputation for honesty, integrity, and skill.
Exceptional emotional intelligence and partner mindset.
