Job description
UT Health East Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Tyler, Texas.
We are seeking experienced APPs with strong skills in OR first assist and ICU rounding. Vein harvesting experience required.
Position Overview
Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Inpatient Only
Practice Setting: In-hospital coverage including OR, ICU, and floor
Patient Load: Daily expectation of 15–20 patients
Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: One (1) weekend per month
Call Duty: 1:3 rotational in-house call
EMR: Epic
Team Structure
Three (3) Cardiothoracic Surgeons
Six (6) Advanced Practice Practitioners
Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff
