Job description
The Highlands Veterinary Hospital in Sparta, NJ offers a DVM student externship/preceptorship to help you gain hands-on clinical experience while still a student.
Rotations are flexible—from two to eight weeks—with days, evenings and weekends. Externs work under a mentor doctor to gather histories, perform exams, scrub in to surgery, assist in medical cases, provide wellness care, and maintain client communications and medical records.
