Job description
Join Changing Directions Foundation's Veterans Housing Corps and help veterans take an important step toward safe, stable housing.
Changing Directions Foundation (CDF) is a nonprofit organization committed to helping veterans and other vulnerable individuals transition into stable housing through supportive services, community partnerships, and practical assistance.
What Volunteers Will Do
Depending on the project, volunteers may:
Help prepare and organize apartments before veteran move-ins
Assemble welcome kits with hygiene and household essentials
Organize bedding, linens, kitchen supplies, and other donated items
Assist with apartment setup and move-in-day activities
Support community outreach and veteran resource events
Help organize donated supplies and materials
Participate in special service projects supporting CDF's housing mission
Who We're Looking For
No specialized experience is required. We welcome dependable, compassionate volunteers who enjoy working as part of a team and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans.
Individuals, community groups, civic organizations, and corporate volunteer teams are encouraged to participate.
