CareVet is offering a guaranteed base and bonus combination of $200k in your first year with Countryside Veterinary Clinic and sister hospital, East Hills Veterinary Clinic, as a full-time Veterinarian. This opportunity is available for an experienced, full-time doctor who is looking to join our thriving practices in St. Joseph, MO. In addition to our customizable compensation package this position offers paid family leave, a production bonus plan, student loan support, clinical support, work/life balance, access to our vacation plan, and "true" paid time off!
Your Role as an Associate Veterinarian
Countryside Veterinary Clinic and East Hills Veterinary Clinic are seeking a personable and collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team, and all levels of experience will be considered. In this role, you will have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine and surgery while working closely with our skilled support staff. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure to a heavy and interesting surgical case load. Your expertise and passion for patient care will contribute to the continued success of our clinics.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
Treat and dress wounds
Perform surgery on animals
Test for and vaccinate against diseases
Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
Prescribe medication
Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
