Overview
CSRA Veterinary Services in beautiful Aiken, SC, is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our compassionate and growing team. We are a multi-doctor small animal practice focusing on high-quality medicine and HQHVSN surgery, committed to providing exceptional medical care, advanced diagnostics, and outstanding client education in a supportive and friendly environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing treatment plans for a diverse caseload of small animal patients
Diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, including internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, and more
Performing routine and complex surgical procedures (e.g., spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery, dental extractions)
Interpreting diagnostic imaging (radiographs, ultrasound) and laboratory results
Administering vaccinations and implementing preventive care protocols
Educating clients on pet health, nutrition, preventive medicine, and treatment options
Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using our veterinary practice management software
Collaborating effectively with our skilled team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists
Participating in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine
Providing compassionate end-of-life care and client support
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited university
Current and active South Carolina veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in small animal practice preferred, but highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
Strong diagnostic capabilities and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client education and empathy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
Experience with Idexx NEO is a plus
