Veterinary Assistant
The Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
Advocate for pets and ensure their well‑being throughout care.
Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment.
Follow all policies and procedures related to animal care and client service.
Pay
Hourly rate: $15.99 – $20.44 (varies by experience, skill level, and location).
