Job description
South Texas Veterinary Clinic is eager to welcome an experienced Associate DVM to our mixed practice. We're located in Beeville, a rural community about an hour north of Corpus Christi.
Experience and scheduling:
This is a full-time role with flexible Monday-Friday scheduling and rotating Saturdays. Current DVMs work 4 10-hour weekday shifts. Veterinarians with 3+ years of current, hands‑on experience are encouraged to apply. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Texas for consideration. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who prioritizes preventative health and is confident performing wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. In this role you'll join a team that has been a staple in the community for more than 35 years. We will consider associates for small animal only as well as associates looking to practice mixed animal (equine, bovine & small animals).
Core Competencies
DVM/VMD from an accredited program
Licensed (or eligible) in Texas
3+ years of hands‑on clinical experience preferred
Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills
Passion for high‑quality patient care and client service

Weekday hours: 7:30am-6pm
Saturday hours: 8am-12pm
Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
